CAFAG is a Community Centre in the Fegg Hayes area of Stoke on Trent, providing a number of services to the local community and wider area.
One of the services we provide is our Food on the Move service. Food on the Move provides hot, healthy, nutritional home cooked meals to the elderly and vulnerable members of our community. Food on the Move also provides a very important holistic service on a daily basis when our meals are being delivered to our customers.
The meals we provide are British, no frills classics. Our menu runs on a bi weekly cycle and is adjusted for seasonality and offers lots of choice and tasty dishes . All of our meals are made using fresh ingredients and provide wholesome, nutritional and balanced meals for our customers. These meals may be the only hot meal our customers have that day and we ensure that they are made and delivered to the highest standards.
Our delivery team also provides a vital holistic service to our customers as well. Sometimes the team may be the only people our customers see on that day. So they check up on them to see if everything is ok and if they need any other support from other services. This is a vital part of our service, and one that we are very proud to carry out on a daily basis. It builds up friendship and trust between our team and customers.
Food on the Move is a not for profit service. All profits raised go back into the community centre to provide services and events for the local community of Fegg Hayes .
