As the activities hub of CAFAG, the Whitfield Valley Centre's main activities include:
Over 55s Lunch Club
Are you 55 years young or older? If yes the come and join our Lunch Club every Monday from 1.30 till 3.30. The Club meets at the Whitfield Valley Centre and includes a variety of activities, lunch and 3 games of bingo. All for just £5.00.
Activities include Guest Speakers and during the months of August and September the Group will be working with the Live Age project which is a joint project between the New Vic Theatre and Keele University. Tom England, a drama practitioner will be developing creative opportunities for the group.

Our Yoga Classes are very popular and take place twice a week. On a Wednesday morning from 10am until noon and on a Wednesday evening from 7pm till 9pm. The cost of £4.50 per individual per class.
Please note that: Classes run during term time only
Pop-up Sale Table
We have a regular Pop-up Sale Table at the Centre where we sell a variety of donated items such as clothing, books, DVDs, CDs, small pieces of furniture, baby items, tableware etc. All proceeds from the sale of donated goods go to the Charity, CAFAG.
If you have any good quality unwanted items that you would like to donate then please either bring them into the Centre or we can come and collect them at a time convenient to you.
Our Walking Club is free and open to all and runs every Tuesday starting at 11:00am from the Centre. There is no need to book on the walking. Simply turn-up at the Centre.
The Walking Club is a great way to explore the local area, meet new people and is suitable for most fitness and age levels.
Keele University Student Doctors Programme
We offer opportunities for Student Doctors who need community based experience as part of their training. We have offered this for a number of years and it includes work placements for the community placement programme for Year 2 students training and Year 5 medical student's project programme module.
Baby Weighing Clinic
The Baby Weighing Clinic takes place on a Wednesday afternoon from 2:00 until 3:30pm and is run by a team of health professionals. In order to have your baby weighed just turn-up at the Centre between these times.
We are a designated 'Safer Place' for people with physical and mental health issues. All our staff and many of our volunteers have completed the Safer Places Training and this is updated and refreshed on a regular basis.
